Convict: Calvin Madison, born May 14, 1947
Killed: Convicted of robbing and killing 19-year-old gas station attendant John Hogan on Jan. 22, 1970. Madison, who was 22 at the time, ordered Hogan into a restroom and onto his knees and shot him four times in the back of the head. Hogan was murdered at the Gas-for-Less services station, 2201 W. State St., a business owned by Hogan's father.
